Privacy & Security

How Palatinis LLC handles the information you share through this website, and what you should know about the content on it.

01Information we collect

  • What you send through our contact form: your name, email, phone number, company and message.
  • Basic visit statistics collected by our website host, Squarespace, such as pages viewed, the site that referred you, approximate location, and browser and device type. Squarespace may use cookies to do this.
  • We don't use advertising trackers, and we don't sell or rent personal information.

02How we use it

  • To answer your questions, schedule assessments and prepare quotes.
  • To provide the services you sign up for under your agreement with us.
  • To see which pages are useful so we can improve the site.

03Who we share it with

  • Service providers that run our website and business systems, only as needed to operate them.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it.
  • No one else. We never sell your information.

04How long we keep it

  • Inquiries are kept only as long as needed to respond and keep normal business records.
  • Client records are kept for the period set in your service agreement.

05Your choices

  • Ask us to show, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing [email].
  • Block or clear cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work.

06Don't send sensitive information here

  • Please don't send patient health information, account or card numbers, passwords, or details of an active security incident through our contact form or email.
  • Tell us you have sensitive information to share and we'll set up a secure way to send it.
  • Current clients with an active incident should use the support process in their service agreement.

07How we protect information

  • This site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
  • Access to our business systems is limited to people who need it and protected with multi-factor authentication.
  • No system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee information sent over the internet will never be intercepted.

08Information, not legal advice

  • Content on this site about FFIEC, PCI DSS, HIPAA, NIST, NERC CIP and other frameworks is general information, not legal, regulatory or compliance advice.
  • Our services support your compliance program but don't by themselves make you compliant. Final determinations rest with you, your auditors and your regulators.
  • Market and vendor information comes from public sources and may change.

09Trademarks

  • Names of standards, frameworks, vendors and products belong to their owners. Mentioning them doesn't imply endorsement.
  • PCI DSS is a standard of the PCI Security Standards Council. GARTNER and MAGIC QUADRANT are trademarks of Gartner, Inc.

10Reporting a security issue

  • If you find a vulnerability in our website or systems, email the details to [email].
  • Please don't access, change or delete data that isn't yours, or disrupt our services while testing.
  • Give us reasonable time to fix the issue before sharing it publicly. We appreciate responsible reports.
